AUGUST 2002 – APRIL 2003
This Forward plan seeks to anticipate all
the Executive decisions to be made by the Council Executive,
or by individual Executive Councillors (and occasionally key
decisions by officers) over the coming year. This plan goes
beyond the minimum legal requirement for only key decisions
to be published over the coming four month period, and
demonstrates the Council’s commitment to openness and
participation in decision making. The plan will also assist
the Council’s Overview & Scrutiny Management Board in
planning their input to policy formulation and development,
and in reviewing the work of the Executive.
This plan will be updated regularly and
re-issued on a monthly basis. Inevitably, some of the
current content may change; Government guidance recognises
that the plan is a best assessment, at the time of
publication, of anticipated decision making. (New items and
amendments to existing items will be underlined).

to the decision taker, please contact the report author or
Jo Morrison, Democratic Services (01225 394358). For whole
Executive items, a formal agenda will be issued 5 clear
working days before the meeting. For individual Executive
Councillor decisions, a weekly decisions list, with the
details of the proposed decision, will be published and a
decision will not be made until 5 clear working days have
expired from the date of publication, to allow for
representations.
Council Executive agenda papers and the
weekly decisions list can be inspected on the Council’s
website and at the Guildhall - Bath, Hollies – Midsomer
Norton, Riverside – Keynsham and Bath Central, Keynsham
and Midsomer Norton public libraries. In addition, papers
may be inspected at the Envolve Partnerships for
Sustainability (formerly Bath Environment Centre), Green
Park Station, Green Park Road, Bath.
