PROPOSED DECISIONS OF EXECUTIVE COUNCILLORS ON MATTERS WITHIN THEIR PORTFOLIO

The Executive Member is asked to approve the adoption of the guide as Supplementary Planning Guidance and to authorise a 6-week period of public consultation on the proposals.

E617 Response to CSCI Inspection of Fostering Services (Cllr Francine Haeberling)

The Executive Member is asked to endorse the action plan in response to the report from the Commission for Social Care Inspection.

The Executive Member is asked to agree to a period of consultation on the draft manual.

REVIEW FINDINGS OF OVERVIEW AND SCRUTINY PANELS BEING PASSED TO EXECUTIVE MEMBERS FOR THEIR INITIAL RESPONSE WITHIN 6 WEEKS EXPLAINING FOR EACH RECOMMENDATION WHETHER THEY ACCEPT, REJECT OR DEFER CONSIDERATION UNTIL FURTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE

Executive members' responses to the proposals in these papers are requested within 6 weeks of publication of these papers.

The Executive member is asked to consider the Panel’s report and to respond to each of the Panel’s recommendations normally within 6 weeks but on this occasion to make allowance for the holiday period the response is requested by 14th January 2005.

DECISIONS TAKEN BY THE COUNCIL EXECUTIVE

The Council Executive last met on Wednesday 3rd November. The Minutes were published in Weekly List 2004/45A.

The Council Executive will next meet on Wednesday 1st December. The Agenda will be published 7 days before the meeting and may be viewed in due course on the Council's website.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS

Connection Road, Bath

Sewerage improvement works are in operation on or near the road from 8th November and are anticipated to last until about 21st November. During this period it will be necessary to close the road.

 

Sydney Place, Bath

Major road reconstruction works are planned on or near the road from 11th November and are anticipated to last for 3 weeks.  During this period it will be necessary on occasions to close the road from its junction with A36 Darlington Street in an easterly direction for a distance of 105 metres.

 

Stephen's Road, Lansdown Bath

Water main relining works are planned on or near the road from 15th November and are anticipated to last for 3 weeks.  During this period it will be necessary on occasions to close the road from its junction with Lansdown Grove to its junction with Camden Crescent.  During the closure, the weight restrictions on Lansdown Road will be temporarily lifted.

Farm Lane Twinhoe Lane, Wellow

Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on or near the road from 15th November and are anticipated to last for 5 days.  During this period it will be necessary on occasions to close the roads from the junction of Farm Lane with The Square for approximately 950 metres in a north easterly direction.

 

Dairy Hill and Faulkland Lane, Shoscombe

Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on or near the road from 15th November and are anticipated to last for 5 days.  During this period it will be necessary on occasions to close the roads for a distance of 550 metres from the junction of Dairy Hill with unclassified road to Wellow in a southerly direction into Faulkland Lane.

 

The Dring, Radstock

Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on or near the road from 15th November and are anticipated to last for 5 days.  During this period it will be necessary on occasions to close the road from its junction with A367 Wells Road to its junction with Birch Road.

 

Braysdown Lane, Shoscombe

Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on or near the road from 15th November and are anticipated to last for 5 days.  During this period it will be necessary on occasions to close the road from its junction with Cleeve Cottage to its junction with Wheel House.

 

Freshford Lane, Freshford

Carriageway pavement reconstruction and surfacing works are planned on or near the road from 15th November and are anticipated to last for 5 days.  During this period it will be necessary on occasions to close the road from its junction with High Street to its junction with Ashes Lane.
