PROPOSED DECISIONS OF EXECUTIVE COUNCILLORS ON MATTERS WITHIN THEIR PORTFOLIO OR OF OFFICERS ON MATTERS WITHIN THEIR RESPONSIBILITY

The Executive member is asked to agree to the new approach to informing members of the public about the services provided by SHS.

E750 Delegation of Resources for SEN and Social Inclusion (Cllr Jonathan Gay)

The Executive member is asked to approve proposals for funding special needs in schools.

PAPER 4

E657 Standard Charges for Social Services (Cllr Francine Haeberling)

The Executive member is asked to agree the revised charges with effect 1st April 2005.

REVIEW FINDINGS OF OVERVIEW AND SCRUTINY PANELS BEING PASSED TO EXECUTIVE MEMBERS FOR THEIR INITIAL RESPONSE WITHIN 6 WEEKS EXPLAINING FOR EACH RECOMMENDATION WHETHER THEY ACCEPT, REJECT OR DEFER CONSIDERATION UNTIL FURTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE

Executive members' responses to the proposals in these papers are requested within 6 weeks of publication of these papers.

Those parts (if any) of the response which are subject to Call-in have been added to the Decision Register and are also attached. These decisions will be implemented on or after 5th February 2005 (or another date shown in the text below) unless “called-in” by 10 Councillors.
