The Executive member is asked to agree to the new approach to informing members of the public about the services provided by SHS.

E750 Delegation of Resources for SEN and Social Inclusion (Cllr Jonathan Gay)

The Executive member is asked to approve proposals for funding special needs in schools.

PAPER 4

E657 Standard Charges for Social Services (Cllr Francine Haeberling)

The Executive member is asked to agree the revised charges with effect 1st April 2005.


REVIEW FINDINGS OF OVERVIEW AND SCRUTINY PANELS BEING PASSED TO EXECUTIVE MEMBERS FOR THEIR INITIAL RESPONSE WITHIN 6 WEEKS EXPLAINING FOR EACH RECOMMENDATION WHETHER THEY ACCEPT, REJECT OR DEFER CONSIDERATION UNTIL FURTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE

The Executive member's table of responses to the proposals of the Overview and Scrutiny Panel is attached.  Those parts (if any) of the response which are subject to Call-in have been added to the Decision Register and are also attached.  These decisions will be implemented on or after 5th February 2005 (or another date shown in the text below) unless “called-in” by 10 Councillors. The Council Executive last met on Wednesday 12th January. The Minutes were published in Weekly List 2005/02A.

The Council Executive will next meet on Wednesday 9th February. The Agenda will be published 7 days before the meeting and may be viewed in due course on the Council's website.
