EXECUTIVE RESPONSES TO OVERVIEW AND SCRUTINY REVIEWS

The Executive member's table of responses to the proposals of the Overview and Scrutiny Panel is attached. The report submitted to the decision maker may be accessed by reference to the quoted Weekly List edition.  Those parts (if any) of the response which are subject to Call-in have been added to the Decision Register and are also attached and will be implemented on or after 30^th April 2005 (or another date shown in the text below) unless “called-in” by 10 Councillors.

DECISIONS TAKEN BY THE COUNCIL EXECUTIVE

CALLED IN DECISIONS

These are decisions which are the subject of a call-in by 10 members.  If the call-in is validated under the rules within the Constitution, the implementation of the decision cannot proceed.  The decision will be examined through the overview and scrutiny process and a recommendation made back to the decision maker.  The response of the decision maker (the Executive Councillor or the Council Executive, whichever is relevant) will be recorded in a subsequent Weekly List.  Once made, this decision will not be eligible for a further call-in.
